28 February 2016

Event: 38th Horsell Scouts and Guides May Fayre Venue: Wheatsheaf Common,
Horsell Date: 2nd May 2016, 11.45am till 4.30pm An exciting Free event for the
community, opened by The Mayor of Woking Cllr. Derek McCrum with County and
local dignitaries from Scouts and Guides, at 12, bringing all ages together in
their enjoyment of a wide range of activities to suit all tastes.

Whether it is the range of soft play, inflatables and face painting, or
scaling new heights with the popular Global Travel Management sponsored climbing
wall, then the active ones amongst us will be well catered for. However, if
sitting back and taking it easy, whilst listening to the live music in the music
tent, is more your bag, read on. Select something from the BBQ or pancake stall,
visit the Thurston Brewery beer tent and enjoy the main arena events including
the daring antics of the nationally acclaimed BMX stunt riders, Team Extreme BMX
(www.teamextreme.co.uk) and the wonderful Summerscales Dancers who never fail to
disappoint.

Even our canine friends of all shapes and sizes are catered for with the
return of the popular Dog Agility course sponsored and manned by Sutton Green
Dog Training Academy. Prizes for the winning dogs. Dog problem advice given all
afternoon

As the main annual fundraising event for Horsell Scouts and Guides look out
for the May Fayre Programmes for £1, available before the day in Horsell shops
and from our door to door Guides and Scouts in the local area. On the day, they
will also be available together with the hourly raffle with many great prizes
for everyone to win. None of this would be possible without the amazing support
from our May Fayre sponsors – Global Travel Management Ltd. Seymours Estate
Agents from Horsell, Trident Honda, Ottershaw and WADP Architects. Without their
very generous support the May Fayre would struggle to provide the first rate
family entertainment that it does – Thank you!
