Horsell Scouts and Guides Grand May Fayre
The Horsell Scouts and Guides Grand May Fayre is held on the first Bank Holiday in May at the Wheatsheaf Recreation Ground, Woking.
In 2008 The Grand May Fayre in Horsell celebrated its thirtieth birthday. Since it started it has grown from a few stalls to become a major event in Woking, drawing some two to three thousand visitors. Our May Fayre is unusual too, it's free!
Horsell Scouts and Guides are justifiably proud of their Fayre, the major fundraising event of their very busy year.
The Grand May Fayre stars for 2009 are The Solent Dog Agility Team from Southampton together with Hot Rods on Display and the Karen Clarke Theatre School
In 2010 we plan the biggest camp fire in Surrey to celebrate the 100 year centenary of Girl Guiding.
To commemorate Horsell Scout Group's one hundredth year in 2011 the Grand May Fayre welcomes its favourite event - a parachute display.
