Adventurers Beaver Scouts
We have had a really great year and the boys have done us proud. Thanks to all of our parents for their help and support. And well done to our 20 brilliant Beavers!
Some highlights of our year
- We enjoyed a fantastic outing to Painshill Park for Pond dipping and camp building.
- Making clown hats in the pouring rain at Beaver fun day!
- Our cake and shake sale to raise money for our Christmas Good turn. We raised £64.00!!!
- A visit from a kilt wearing bagpipe playing Sergeant with Surrey Pipes and Drums to help us celebrate St Andrews day.
- Noisy Christmas party, next time we are wearing earplugs!
- Bob the Builder at the gang show. Great fun.
- Tony Bowman (GSL) in the leaders sketch! Co-ordination in welly boots not a strong point. (Only joking Tony... you were great, only the fish upstaged you).
- Collecting money on our tiger to help the Horsell Venture Scouts go to Thailand for the Jamboree.
- Campfire singing workshop, shame about the leaders voices!
- A red, white and blue Golden Jubilee party with the Explorers Beaver Scout colony.
- Our summer outing this year which will be a day of scouting fun at Bentley Copse campsite in Shere. We are really looking forward to it.
- Visiting Fairoaks airport.
- Introducing the new Beaver badges.
"Be prepared to have fun and friends with the Adventurers Beaver colony!"
