4th Horsell Brownie Guides
At the end of the summer term we had a Harry Potter themed pack holiday at Heyswood in Chobham. A magical time was had by all.
At the start of the autumn term, 'Robin' joined the unit, as our regular mum helper. We did the World Issues badge as a pack which was such a success that we are also doing the World Cultures badge and have included Australian and Chinese evenings.
We finished our Chrismas term with a craft evening for the girls and their families. As a result Brown Owl has had many requests from parents to help with Brownie evenings.
In April we will be doing the childrens marathon in aid of Children With Leukamia and Woking hospice, which we will be visiting in March.
Brown Owl's happiest memory this year is the girls begging her not to finish the evening as they are having such a good time.
If you or your daughter are aged between 7 and 10, and would like to join Rainbows then please contact the Guide District Commisioner and she will get in touch.
